Mac Full Lash Curler

Mac Full Lash Curler

Curling your lashes seems to be a not so secret trick among the beauty bloggers. Chances are that you have read a post or two where the author comments on how curling your lashes will “open your eyes”.

Until recently I only owned a drugstore lash curler and honestly I could not see that much of a difference.

So when in a recent trip to the Mac store I found myself checking out their lash curler, I thought to myself “why not?”

And wow! There is indeed a difference depending on the lash curler that you use. They might all seem pretty much the same but I am happy to say that the Mac Full Lash Curler easily gives my lashes a very nice curl.

Even someone as lazy when it comes to everyday make up might end using it quite frequently!

I might be standing on a slippery slope though, I might find myself buying different brands and comparing them in the near future. Imagine that!

What is your favourite lash curler?

  1. Hey, I’m glad this works so well for you! I am careful about lash curlers, because years and years ago I bought one from the drugstore that broke multiple lashes the first time I used it! I have tried this one but it didn’t do much for me. My favorite is the Shu Uemura one. I know it sounds like a cliche, but it is just so solid and well-made. Considering it’s something you put right against your eyes, I think it makes sense 😉 I also like the Shiseido one. It’s flatter so it works well for my eye shape, but it’s not as solid as Shu.

    1. It was a bit of a revelation for me as I use them only once in a while. I am afraid of trying different brands now, might end being like what happened when I got into make up brushes!! XD

  2. Hello Tirurit,

I may be the only person on the planet that does not like lash curlers. I have Shu U., Billy B., and Le Metier de Beaute and they all leave an unattractive crimp in my lashes. It could very well be my lash length and hair texture just does not mesh well with curlers.

I’m glad to see MAC has developed a quality curler–I know so many people will love this news.

    1. Thank you!

It is not something I use on an everyday basis, but it is great to find some nice ones for when I want my lashes to look all nice and curled!
