As I have said before, one of my favourite products by Kiko is their eyeshadow sticks. They have a great selection of shades in their permanent range, but they also like to launch new shades in their limited edition collections. Let me introduce you to the new two members of our family.
As you can imagine, I was ever so happy when they launched the Daring Game collection and it included some new goodies, named the Color-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadows.
I picked a few shades and continued to drool over the other ones. They say that patience is rewarded, and they might be right as I kept waiting for the collection to hit the discounted zone as new ones were launched. And yeah, I already took advantage of this as I showed you in this post here. But when I saw the prices go even lower, I could not resist them and I picked up these two beauties.
This collection had a casino theme and many of the Color-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadows were in shades reminiscent of gems, and these two are exactly that.
Because I think that posts that review favourites are as useful for a blog’s readers as posts showcasing products that didn’t perform as expected, let me introduce you to my new Bye byes post featuring the Nyx Jumbo pencils and Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Paint.
If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen me feature the Nyx Jumbo pencils a few weeks ago on this photograph. I must confess that a couple years ago I bought into the Jumbo pencils hype and ordered a few of them in basic colours. I was very excited when I got them as I intended to use them as eye shadow bases and they had the reputation of being excellent for this purpose.
Peggy Sage is a French brand that was recently introduced to a local store that catters mainly to professional hairdressers and beauticians.
So, nosy that I am, on a day when I went to buy my hair colour I had a quick look around at what Peggy Sage has to offer. Unfortunately, I have yet to encounter a stick or cream eyeshadow that does not catch my eye, so of course I picked up some of the shades and swatched them on the back of my hand.
