I inherited these two Cargo eyeshadows from my mother. She bought them a few years ago on a trip (my mother was always quite trendy that way) and for a couple of years they have been residing in my drawers.
I must confess that this has been the first Cargo product that I have tried, and I have really liked the quality of the formula.
This autumn Kiko launched their Daring game collection, inspired by the world of casinos. It was a very sleek-looking collection and contained some fabulous palettes that included eyeshadow palettes and blush and bronzer palettes.
Among the many pretty things available I picked two of their Queen of Hearts eyeshadow palettes, 01 Essential Brownand 03 Elegant Ebony.
As part of the decluttering project I am carrying out, I decided to depot my mineralize products. As was the case with my regular eyeshadows and blushes, trying to find a specific shade was time consuming and the products ended not being used as much.
Also, in the case of the Mineralize Eyeshadows, I don’t like the product so far, so by depoting them and keeping them visible I am trying to force myself to use them.
The only products I have not depoted are my Minerlize Skinfinishes, as I would simply need several palettes to contain them!
As the Mineralize products are dome shaped as opposed to the flat surface of regular formulas, I had to buy a Z-palette high enough that could contain them, the Dome Palette.
The top row contains 4 limited edition blushes: Amber Glow, Petal Power, Talk of the Town and Lavish Living.
As I have said previously, I have been going through my make up to discard those products that I do not use and find them a new home.
Another strategy in consolidating my stash is to depot and place the products in free-form palettes.
In my case, I have been depoting anything and everything and I have been then placing them in Z-palettes. This not only helps when organizing your belongings but it also helps to know what you already own. In my case, for some strange reason I feel drawn to blue eyeshadows despite that I do not wear it that often!
The palette featured in this post contains my small sized coloured eyeshadows, which contains mainly MAC eyeshadows (both permanent and limited edition) and 4 Make Up Store Cybershadows.
The Cybershadows have a metallic finish and are exactly the same size as a mac eyeshadow and contain 2g of product. This eyeshadows cost 12€, but you can find the discontinued ones for 8.40€ each.
For some time now I have been deeply in love with cream shadows and stick shadows. In the case of cream shadows, I really love MAC’s Paint Pots and Maybelline’s Colour Tattoos, while in the case of stick shadows I have been enjoying playing with Kiko’s Long Lasting Eyeshadows.
So you can imagine my joy when I went to check out Kiko’s Daring Game collection a few weeks ago and saw these gorgeous Color-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadows! So pretty!
