You might know that I am a big lover of cream and stick eye shadows and that Kiko is a great brand when it comes to this type of product. They not only offer a vast range of shades in their permanent collection but they also launch limited edition shades now and then.

Another of the great things of Kiko is that they always have products of past collections at a discounted price both in store and online.

So when I visited the store and found these two Colour-Up Long Lasting Eye Shadows, a formula I had already bought some more neutral shades in, in the outlet pile I knew they had to come home with me.

Like the other Colour-Up Long Lasting Eye Shadow pencils that I already had, these were part of the Daring Game collection, which had a Casino theme. I also really enjoyed the Elegant Ebony palette and the Essential Brown palette.

33 Likable blackberry is a beautiful dark plum. It is gorgeous if paired with other plums, cranberries or golds.

28 Persuasive anthracite is a blackened dark green. Not exactly sure what the anthracite part of the name refers to.

As all of Kiko’s cream eye shadows in pencil form, these have excellent pigmentation, as shown above, and are truly long lasting. You have short window of time for blending them before they set, so they are really comfortable to work with.

I love using them both as a quick all over shade and as a base for a colourful eye look.

    1. Yeah, these are limited edition, but I love the big range of shades that they have in their permanent collection. I would love to read a comparison between these and some more higher end brands 🙂

  1. I love eyeshadow sticks and have yet to try these ones from Kiko. Currently my favourite are from Astor, but I definitely need to pick up this plum shade you showed – it’s beautiful and I’m sure it would look quite nice with my green eyes 😉
