While it was true that for an everyday or more subtle brow I was set with what I already had as shown here, I still wanted a product that could give me more definition and intensity for those days when you simply want to look like you stepped out of the glamorous 40s.

When I got the chance to visit a Make Up Forever stand, I was overwhelmed with the large numbers of untried and unknown products. However, I was immediately drawn to their Aqua Brows! This looked like a product that I would enjoy. Let me review it for you and share my thoughts.

I instinctively took the shade 25, which actually is a good match for my Mac gel in Quiet Brunette. Both products are waterproof and with a hint of warmth in them, so it sounds like a match made in heaven!

The texture of the Aqua Brow is a gel-like and we receive 7 mL in the tube. It is a thick product that dries quite quickly. Once it dries it sets and it will not budge until you take your make up off.

The packaging is a simple plastic tube with. Very sturdy and no-nonesense and it is small enough that those of you who just HAVE to do your brows every day can take it in your travel make up bag.

I love how you only need the tiniest amount to create shade and medium intensity lines. The product has good pigmentation so the depth of your lines depends mostly on the amount of product you apply.

Above you can see how that tiny drop can be applied thickly or more subtly.

I am currently using a random slanted brush, but I am thinking of getting a firmer brush to be able to draw more precisely.

In my opinion, the Make Up Forever Aqua Brow is a wonderful product to create both bolder and more subtle brows. It can help you hide bold spots or alter slightly the shape or length of your brows. It is also waterproof, so it is perfect for the warm and humid weather we are having now.

Do you use any type of gel or pommade on your brows?
