While it is true that I sucumbed to the Fluidlines very quickly and with disastrous results (for my wallet), it is also true that I also grabbed a couple other things from the Mac is Beauty collection. Here are the powder products that came home with me.

Alpha girl is a bit of an unexpectedly coloured Beauty Powder. Beauty powders generally work as setting powders or finishing powders, so finding one so obviously pinky coral was surprising.
However, I am using it as a very subtle almost matte blush and loving it. I am applying it either with the new MAC 137 brush, which difuses colour beautifully, or one of my loved paddle shaped brushes like the Sensai blush brush.
As you can see, on my skin it is a beautiful pinky coral colour and it has a subtle golden sheen to it.

When it comes to eye shadows, I am always on the look out for unusual colours or something that I still do not have and that can join my other depotted eye shadows in my z-palettes.
In this collection I opted for Bouffant and Wow Factor.
Bouffant is a Veluxe Pearl eye shadow that can be described as a frosty light peach. Temptalia likened it to A Natural Flirt, the EDES shade. As I liked the colour but do not like the EDES formula that much (creases on me, can not be depotted), I am very happy indeed with this release.
Wow Factor on the other hand is a Matte eye shadow that is a medium lavender shade.
Both of those eyeshadows are gorgeous!

I know, right? I couldn’t resist even though I have enough eye shadow to survive a nuclear apocalipse!
