The best method that I know not to spend money is to not enter a shop, otherwise it happends that I go back home with a little treasure. This is how my story with Le Blanc de Chanel started.

I had seen this product on a few blogs but thought “I am pale, but I am not sure that I could wear a white base!”. Fool that I am, when I spotted it at a local store, I simply had to try it.

Le Blanc de Chanel, Base Lumière Universelle (aprox 45€ for 30mL) is a brightening, unifying and moisturizing fluid that also acts like a foundation primer. It preps your skin and helps make pores less aparent. Isn’t it amazing to have such a multitasking product? This is basically fresh looking skin in a bottle!

The product is contained in a sleek looking frosted glass bottle and comes with a handy pump.

As you can see in the picture below, while I was a bit worried about putting so much white on my face, it sheers out quite nicely.

The texture is fluid but it sets quite quickly so you have to work fast when applying. It leaves a very nice and subtle luminosity on your skin that looks absolutely fabulous.

I would recommend trying it under your different foundations as some might work better with it than others.
