For some time now I have been deeply in love with cream shadows and stick shadows. In the case of cream shadows, I really love MAC’s Paint Pots and Maybelline’s Colour Tattoos, while in the case of stick shadows I have been enjoying playing with Kiko’s Long Lasting Eyeshadows.
So you can imagine my joy when I went to check out Kiko’s Daring Game collection a few weeks ago and saw these gorgeous Color-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadows! So pretty!
I came back home with 3 new loves, but I am still keeping an eye on the other 7 shades released. Kiko is known for putting collection leftovers on sale when launching a new one, so I am hoping to grab a couple more when their prices drop. Each pencil contains 3g of product and right now they retail for 7.90€.

The 3 shades I got are numbers 10 – Bold Rosy Taupe, 11 – Charming Champagne and 24 – Majestic dove-grey. Their names are quite descriptive as can be seen in the swatches above.
The texture of these pencils is similar to that of Kiko’s Long Lasting Eyeshadow sticks and it too dries onto a waterproof metallic finish. They are creamy on contact with the skin but they dry quickly, so if you want to smudge them or smoke them out you better be quick! I have had those swatches on my hand now for over 12 hours and they are mostly intact, so keep in mind that you will need a waterproof make up remover if you do not want to wake up to racoon eyes!
Are you in the market for new eyeshadows? I could not recommend these more!
